Heathrow Terminal 1
Terminal 1 began operating in 1968 and was formally opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in May 1969. Today 13 airlines operate from Terminal 1, carrying 25 million passengers. All Heathrow's domestic flights operate from Terminal 1, as well as European and long-haul destinations.
Check-in and Departures for domestic destinations operate from the first floor of Terminal 1, on the left of the concourse. Check-in desks for international flights are located in the middle and on the right of the concourse.
Arrivals for international passengers are located on the ground floor of Terminal 1. Domestic, Republic of Ireland and Channel Island arriving passengers and baggage reclaim are located on the first floor of Terminal 1.

- Cash Dispensers
Nearest cash points are on the ground floor near the International Arrivals meeting point.
- Bureau de Change
There are two Bureaux de Change situated in the retail shopping area - Left Luggage
Located on the mid floor between Arrivals & Departures. - Pay Phones
These are in various parts of the airport. - Smoking Area
This is situated near WH Smiths - Toilets
Follow the signs as toilets are situated in different areas in departures.

Near the International Arrivals Meeting Point - Bureau de Change
Travelex is situated in the Reclaim area and in the Arrivals meeting area - Left Luggage
Located on the mid floor between Arrivals & Departures. - Pay Phones
Mainly in the Baggage Reclaim but throughout this terminal - Smoking Area
NEED TO CHECK WITH LONDON HEATHROW - Toilets
In Baggage Reclaim also at the Domestic Arrivals end of the building
