Airport Facilities Guide

Terminals 1, 2 & 3 are all located in the centre of the airport and are within walking distance of each other via underground walkways. Terminal 4 is located on the south side of the airport, and can be reached from Terminals 1, 2 & 3 via the free inter-terminal transfer service on the Heathrow Express train, which takes approximately eight minutes.

The specific range of facilities and services on offer from each terminal can be viewed by following the relevant link to the right. However, there are a number of common facilities that span all terminals. These are listed here.

Common Facilities Across All Terminals

  • Children Feeding and changing
    There are specially equipped rooms for changing and feeding babies, these are indicated by either a bottle sign or a baby care symbol.
  • Disabled Functions
    All terminals offer:
    • Reserved seating for disabled people in check-in areas
    • Disabled toilet facilities
    • Wider access pathways
    • Ramps
  • Duty Free Items
    The following products are classed as Duty Free items:
    • Liquor
    • Tobacco
    • Pure Perfume
    July 1999 the Duty-Free and Tax-Free laws that apply to European Union Countries came into effect
    If flying outside the European Union you are entitled to full allowance of goods at Tax and Duty Free prices.
